Macroeconomics
The course covers an introduction to macroeconomics, economic growth and development, national income, determination of price levels under macroeconomic environment, money & banking, inflation, foreign exchange, labor economics, and unemployment.
Course Objectives
- To create an understanding of the basic economic concepts, terminologies, and relationships.
- To provide learners with technical skills for the analysis and interpretation of economic phenomena and for rational decision-making.
- To provide the learners with the basic economic tools that will enable them to appreciate the economic systems of the world and how an economy works.

At the end of this course, the learner should be able to;
- Describe key macroeconomic principles.
- Explain the methods for measuring national income.
- Explain the functions of money and the role of central and commercial banks.
- Discuss the causes of inflation and unemployment.
