Microeconomics

This course introduces learners to the basic principles and concepts of microeconomics. It covers introduction to economics, the theory of the firm, the theory of consumer behavior, types of business units, markets and market structures.

Course Objectives

  • To create understanding of the basic economic concepts, terminologies and relationships.
  • To provide learners with technical skills for the analysis and interpretation of economic phenomena and for rational decision making.
  • To provide the learners with the basic economic tools that will enable them appreciate the economic systems of the world and how an economy works.
