Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Economics

A specialized undergraduate program, the Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Economics strives to give students a solid foundation in Economics especially as it relates to the sustainable Management of Resources from Nature. Economic theory, Quantitative analysis, and Environmental studies are all combined in this program to give students the knowledge and abilities they need to handle the challenging problems that come with managing Natural resources. Through coursework and data analysis, students will gain strong quantitative and analytical skills throughout the program. In addition to performing cost-benefit analyses, Analyzing market dynamics, and Modeling the interactions between Economic activity and the Environment, they will learn how to evaluate the Economic value of Natural assets. For the opportunity to obtain real-world experience, students might also be able to participate in Research projects, Internships, and Fieldwork to obtain physical knowledge in the field of Natural Mineral Economics.
