Bachelor of Science in Animal Production and Management
The program is known as Bachelors Degree in Animal Production and Management. The program aims at training students in Animal Production and Management practices focusing on areas such as Animal anatomy and physiology as relates to aspects of nutrient acquisition, growth, maintenance, reproduction, and animal product production. The program highlights various livestock enterprises such as beef, dairy, poultry, small ruminants, and swine as well as value addition of basic animal products. It encompasses an in-depth analysis of nutrition, disease management, housing, genes genetic banking, and general animal management systems of therefore mentioned livestock enterprises.

Target Group
Holders of Advanced Level Certificate of Education or the equivalent, as well as those with specialized knowledge relevant to Animal production to ensure satisfactory completion of the course will be considered. The program will also provide an opportunity for persons with relevant Diplomas, who may want to specialize in animal production and management to do so.
