Bachelor of Agribusiness

This Programme is intended to meet Uganda‘s growing skills challenge and to promote the required specialization in Agribusiness. The programme is expected to help agribusiness managers and practitioners in agricultural finance, risk assessment and management which are less developed in the agricultural sector. Considering the distance of Busitema University Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Sciences from other institutions of higher learning that offer trainings in agribusiness, this programme is expected to bring these skills nearer to the communities served by the University. Actually, this will be the first agribusiness programme in Eastern Uganda. The programme is also suitable for the various agro-ecological zones of the University’s catchment area from Jinja, Mbale, Moroto, Lira to Kitgum.
